SPEECH THERAPY
		Speech therapy involves the assessment/management and treatment for various speech and language disorders (communication disorders) both in children and adults. Ma Ayesha Memorial Centre has qualified speech/language pathologists/therapist to treat patients of all ages. Pediatric Service offered by Ma Ayesha Memorial Centre include: • Children with development delay in speech/language • Children with articulation disorder [e.g. due to cleft of lip/palate] • Children with sensory deficits [e.g. hearing/visual impairment] • Children with fluency disorders [e.g. stammering] • Children with voice disorders [e.g. dysphonia, vocal misuse/abuse, resonance disorders, hypernasality] • Learning difficulties - these may be physical/cognitive/congenital acquired [e.g. down syndrome, cerebral palsy, avtism attention and hyper activity. • Swallowing and feeding problems.
