SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOOL
Ma Ayesha Special Education School started its operation in 1999, almost after 10 years of operation of Ma Ayesha Memorial Centre.

The idea was that these children with special needs would be educated and at the same time fulfill their rehabilitation requirement within the same premises.

We have come a long way in fulfilling our mission since our inception. Students of different diseases like MR, ADHD, CP, ASD etc. are now being educated in our School.

We are pioneers in establishing an Autism Section for the children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We have structured Autism class rooms for ASD children.

Autism Spectrum Disorder is more common in boys than in girls. The causes of this disorder are unknown so far. So many researches are being conducted throughout the world but some behavioral intervention treatment programs have been proven effective in the management of the problem.



Treatment of the autism Spectrum is divided into these approaches:

• Behavioral Management Approach
• Communication
• Biomedical Approach
• Educational Approach
• Sensory Integration Therapy Approach




A child with this disorder exhibit impairment in the following areas:

• Socialization
• Communication
• Behavior Disorder
• Self Help Skills



A child might exhibit some associated problems described as under below:

• Sensory Integrative Disorder
• Sleep Disorder
• Eating Disorder
• Hyperactivity/Hypo activity
• Seizures



MAMC has a fleet of vans for the transportation of children that is offered at a nominal rate. A child assistant is present in each van along with the driver to ensure safety and security of the children during pick ups and drop offs.
