HISTORY
The development of a comprehensive rehabilitation centre was the dream of Ma Ayesha who got paralyzed and her life was restricted to the wheelchair. She was very keen to initiate services for the people who have similar type of disabilities. Ma Ayesha Memorial Centre owes its inception to the devotion of a grate son Mr Ahmed Abdullah. On the occasion of Ma Ayesha’s 100th birthday Mr. Ahmed Abdullah formed the Ahmed Abdullah Foundation and in March 1989, Ma Ayesha Memorial Centre was established to transform the dream of his mother in reality, with the commitment to serve humanity in the very important but much neglected discipline of neurological diseases and neuromuscular disorders.

By the grace of almighty Allah Talla today Ma Ayesha Memorial Centre has become
the only comprehensive rehabilitation centre for a wide spectrum of neurological diseases in patients of all ages. It is a matter of great pride to mention that all the staff members directly involved in providing rehabilitation services are fully qualified and due to their professional expertise have earned a very good reputation for the Centre.

Our Vision

To become a centre of excellence in the field of education and rehabilitation for neurological diseases and allied health sciences where all the required facilities would be available under one roof with extensive welfare activities.

Our Mission

To provide the best available rehabilitation services to the patients suffering from neuromuscular disorders and chronic neurological diseases, specifically to those who can not afford to pay for these services. We intend to create awareness among the professionals associated with the neuro rehabilitation field as well as relatives of patients in particular so that they may be able to make useful contribution towards the independence of such type of patients.

All these services are available under one roof and are offered to all groups of patients suffering from neurological disorders requiring short term or long term rehabilitation while taking into consideration their socioeconomic status.
